TRESemme Keratin Smooth Review

TRESemme Keratin Smooth Product Review.

So I have been sent a complimentary parcel from TRESemme of their new Keratin Smooth range to review, I was so excited about receiving this bundle to review as I have bleach damaged hair and have been searching for a product range that would suit my bleaching ash blonde lifestyle.

At last I think I have found just that!

The products arrived looking these sleek and stylish, to be honest with you I was almost sold at the packaging alone. I read through the packaging and couldn't resist having a good sniff of the products, I am so glad I did. They all smelt like an infusion of berrys almost, and I loved it.

I took these straight to the shower and used them as directed and OMG.
SMOOTH isn't even the word, my hair feels new, it feels clean and super soft in a way it hasn't since before I beached it. Thinking my hair couldn't get much better I added the heat protection and blow dryed.

My hair just looks sleek, sleek and smooth and shiny, I am so so happy with it!
You can buy this in Boots or any supermarket, please go and buy it if your hair needs some TLC!

I will be washing my extensions in this for my next review so dont miss that one!! Before and after pictures to come!!

Naked Basics Palette Review

Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

Urban Decay are one of the most recognisable, high quality make-up brands on the market today and this is why today I'll be reviewing one of their most popular products. The Urban Decay Naked Basics palette is a very popular product, so naturally I just had to find out why.

Being a fan of the Naked2 palette I decided that I would try this Basics Palette and I am so pleased that I did!

It came in a small compact box, much like I expected it to. I opened it up and was pleased to discover it looked just as good as any other Urban Decay product I have come across.

I opened the palette and was very pleased to see 6 high pigmented shades of dazzling white and creams to a pink shade and darks.

The shades are called
Venus
Foxy
WOS
Naked2
Faint
Crave

Again, I love the names!
I look one look at the colours and fell in love with all of them, I honestly dont know if I could choose just one.
Venus is a beautiful glittery shade, its flawless and mystical.
Foxy is in the Naked2 palette and a beautiful highlighting shade.
WOS is a baby pinky shade, sometimes I even use this as blush cheekily.
Naked2, I actually use this for my eyebrows to fill them in, its perfect for everything.
Faint is a great colour for a smooth smokey lid look.
Crave, its great for the crease of your eyelid to give a dark sultry look.

This palette is my personal first choice of all my eyeshadow palette, I just love that it is a multi use palette and its so small it fits nicely in a handbag or evening purse!

My overall view of this palette is buy it, no time to debate, honestly  it is worth every single penny you pay for it.
I am now totally sold of the Urban Decay range and I am so excited for the Naked3 palette I am ordering.

I will be doing a follow up blog on using these products and how they look on, please look through my other reviews!
Lots of love xx

UD Naked2 Palette Review

Urban Decay Naked2 Palette.

Urban Decay are one of the most recognisable, high quality make-up brands on the market today and this is why today I'll be reviewing one of their most popular products. Their Naked2 palette retails for £37 at debenhams.com, which at first glance seemed a little pricey for an eyeshadow palette. It's not.
The sleek box encases a golden-tan metal tin case with the words Naked2, Urban Decay raised on the front, when you turn it to the back is says Beauty with an Edge and has some information about Urban Decay.

When you open the tin, the first thing that you notice is the long mirror with a screen protector on it, 12 eyecatching eyeshadows and a beautiful double ended brush.

The colors look very pigmented and range from a lightest cream to a pure black.
The colours, ranging from left to right are called:
Foxy, Half Baked, Bootycall, Chopper, Tease, Snakebite, Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Black out.
Quite fun names I thought.

I have sampled the colours on white so you can see them clearly, I have tried them all and I have to say in all honesty, I dont know how I managed without this paletge. Its has pretty much every natural skin colour in it I can imagine and is so perfect for a natural look. They blend together beautifully and all compliment each other in a way that seems so effortless.

The colours are very pigmented and have minimal dust residue, which is a big plus for me as I seem to be an expert in spilling make-up down my face.
I personally love using the shade Blackout for lining my eyes (no more wet and mess liquid eyeliner for me!) and the shade Bootycall to highlight my inner corners and brow bone.

The brush that came with the set is my favorite make-up brush I own, one end is great for precision and the other perfect for blending out for a smokey look. Its stays in good condition and mine is well loved.

I use this palette daily and it has some staying power. Its great because I it shows no sign of use even though I use it one hell of a lot. I can imagine that this palette will last me into next year. Its worth every penny Ive ever spent on it.
I even went out and purchased the Naked Basics palette too!

Overall, for me now this is a must have make up product, I cant imagine having to go back to drugstore eyeshadow for even a day. This is one of my favorite  products without a doubt,

Please dont be a Naked virgin, go out and buy this, it literally changes the whole make up experience and once you have tried it, you wont go back and like me, you will itching for the whole range.

Thanks for reading and check out my other reviews on the most popular products! :) xx

Making Clip In Human Hair Extensions

Has anyone else had a go at making their own?

Even the cheapest online shops seem to be charging around £70 for a full 100 gram head of human clip in extensions. Did you know you can make your own for a total of around £25?

Its so easy and is done in one afternoon. I promise, they look exactly like the shop bought ones.
To make your own set first you need to buy a human hair weft. Now you need to make sure these are human hair and not some cheap synthetic mix. This is a big bundle of hair, all sewn along the top, its literally ready for you to sew clips on. These cost around £23 for a 16 inch full 100gram weft.
It should look something like the above image. As you can see there is a lot of hair here and you are going to get a decent set out of it.

Next you will need to buy some hair extension snap u clips.

These cost less than £2 for 50 of them, which is more than you would need, You just take one out and sew it onto the weft top and its as easy as that. Just use regular needle and cotton, no need to be fancy about it.

Once you have cut the weft into the sizes you want and added your clips it should look something like this.
And there you have it, your own set of clip in human hair extensions for £25!

Of course if you would rather buy the already made ones that is up to you, up for any bargain hunters out there maybe give this a try :)
