Making Clip In Human Hair Extensions

Has anyone else had a go at making their own?

Even the cheapest online shops seem to be charging around £70 for a full 100 gram head of human clip in extensions. Did you know you can make your own for a total of around £25?

Its so easy and is done in one afternoon. I promise, they look exactly like the shop bought ones.
To make your own set first you need to buy a human hair weft. Now you need to make sure these are human hair and not some cheap synthetic mix. This is a big bundle of hair, all sewn along the top, its literally ready for you to sew clips on. These cost around £23 for a 16 inch full 100gram weft.
It should look something like the above image. As you can see there is a lot of hair here and you are going to get a decent set out of it.

Next you will need to buy some hair extension snap u clips.

These cost less than £2 for 50 of them, which is more than you would need, You just take one out and sew it onto the weft top and its as easy as that. Just use regular needle and cotton, no need to be fancy about it.

Once you have cut the weft into the sizes you want and added your clips it should look something like this.
And there you have it, your own set of clip in human hair extensions for £25!

Of course if you would rather buy the already made ones that is up to you, up for any bargain hunters out there maybe give this a try :)
